A poem about a lonely little girl's best friend.

He watches me to make sure I'm okay.
I never see him when it's day.
Though he's only there while I rest,
He's the one who knows me best.
He is always there to listen,
When I look I see him glisten.
He understands what I go through,
Because he feels alone too.
He follows, protects, and loves me so,
I just thought you all should know,
The moon is always with you and no matter where you go
We're always in his bright, safe glow.

I wrote this when I was 10 and in this version nothing has been changed, just to let you know.
