Care For Magical Creatures Class 7

I walked through the door in to my classroom. I was suprised to see it was filled already 5 minutes before class. Loudly i sai: Wow u must all be excited to take class today! Lets start right away then. Can someone explain to me what a Centaur is?

"A Centaur is a magical creature that is a fusion of a human and a horse. Despite being intelligent, Centaurs are classified as Beasts by the Ministry of Magic at their own request since they were unhappy at having to share Being status with Hags and Vampires. " said Snape

Now next question. What about Magic? Is a centaur able to use it?

"Errm...No?"

Actually Centaurs do not use Magic with Wands but they are specialist in healing magic.

Now who can tell me the relationship between Humans and Centaurs?

Jeremy runs out to Hagrid's shack. "Sorry I'm late Professor Hagrid I just got to this school today and I think the difference between Humans and Centaurs are the whole Human/Horse Hybrid and the fact that many Centaurs live in forests and can be very territorial. All though they are very majestic creatures Centaurs can be very vicious towards humans who upset them." said Jeremy.

"Starting in 1811, Centaurs were offered "Being" status, when Grogan Stump decided that a "being" was "any creature that has sufficient intelligence to understand the laws of the magical community and to bear part of the responsibility in shaping those laws."[1] However, they declined because of the associations with other creatures, such as vampires and hags, that "being" status would give them. A Centaur Liaison Office still exists in the Ministry of Magic's Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, though no Centaur has ever used it. In fact, the phrase "Being sent to the Centaur Liaison Office" has become a joke at the Ministry. It means the person in question is about to be sacked. A Centaur was also represented in the Fountain of Magical Brethren at the Ministry of Magic, at least before the Fountain's destruction during the battle between Albus Dumbledore and Lord Voldemort.

Centaurs has also been known to save Wizards from harm. One being Harry Potter saved by Firenze, when Lord Voldemort was in the forest, though it was highly looked down upon as they were not "supposed to interfere with what is to come." The Centaur herd in the Forbidden Forest fought against the Death Eaters in the Battle for Hogwarts." Said James.

"Sorry I'm Late Professor Hagrid I overslept and I just got here by running." he said.

Vey good James 20 points. Fred i asked the relationship between Humans and Centaurs not in wich way they are alike but how they interact and behave around eachother. Jeremy u get 15 points.
Now for your homework assignment i would want you to write a paper on how you can be able to track a Centaur down inside a forrest. U may write a story about it.

I wheeled to the door of the classroom. I opened it and sat there for a second. "Sorry im late i was like in a jam with the stairs since im in a wheel chair..." Hermione went to the back of the room. she got out her parchment and started writing.
